The Current is Blake Paul’s pro model, through and through. Built hand in hand with Blake this is a true all mountain machine. Wanting to get this board right, RIDE worked directly with Blake building over 40 prototypes and testing over 15 different camber profiles until Blake fine-tuned what is the all-new Current. The camber profile features RIDE’s new Multi-Cam shape blending maneuverability, ease of use, pop, and stability into one board. RIDE didn’t stop at camber profile though, the core of this is fully engineered to support the camber profile. With a medium amount of tortional flex between the feet the Current is easy to control while providing the stability you need on hill. The tip and tail are stiffer to pair with the camber sections, so you don’t tomahawk over the nose in pow or loop out off the tail on landings. The sidecut is a radial cut that’s set back on the board so the center of the sidecut matches the setback of the board. RIDE’s Slimewalls and linear carbon finish the Current off to be an all-mountain board that’s stable on the hardpack, floats in pow, and keeps you upright when the conditions try to buck you around.

SHAPE
Directional
Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
SIDECUT
Quadratic
Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
Radial Sidecut
A sidecut featuring a single, continuous arc from tip to tail—delivering smooth, consistent turns and effortless edge control.
SIDEWALL
Slimewalls®
RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls™ are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls™ smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
Roll-In Construction
Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.
LAMINATES
Single Impact Plates
Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
FIBERGLASS
Biaxial
90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
BASE MATERIAL
Extruded Base
The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.

The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
